PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE MODIFIKASI PERILAKU TOKEN ECONOMY TERHADAP REGULASI DIRI SISWA PESERTA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Abstrak: Self  regulation  is  an  important  factor  in  supporting  students  obtain  optimal performance  on  the  subjects  of  Mathematics.  Ability  of  self  regulation  can  not develop  by  itself  and  so  we  need a conducive environment so that children can develop self regulation. Reinforcement  (reinforcement) is one of the external factors in  the  regulation  of  self.  Token  economy  behavior  modification  method  is  a  basic principle  of  positive  reinforcement.  This  study  aimed  to  determine  whether  there  is influence of the token economy behavior modification methods of self regulation math students participating subjects. Characteristic of the research subjects were students participating subjects of Mathematics,  grade  five  SDN  Srondol  Banyumanik  02.  This  research  design  uses  a non-randomized pretest - posttest control group design. This study did not adjust the randomization  because  schools  that  provides  two  classes  for  research.  Two  classes are defined in this study were divided into two groups randomly. Research subjects in the experimental group numbered 16 people, while the control group 22 people. Data collection was performed by using the Self Regulation Scale.  Results  of  statistical  tests  using  the  Wilcoxon  test  showed  significant differences  in  the  experimental  group  between  before  and  after  application  of behavior  modification  with  the  value  of  the  token  economy  Asymp  sig  (2-tailed) (0016)  <(0:05).  This  shows  that  the  implementation  of  token  economy  behavior modification effective in improving students' self regulation participants mathematics subjects. Analysis of test results with test 2 Independent Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov got  value  Asymp  Sig  (2-tailed)  (0003)  <(0:05).  The  results  indicate  that  there  are significant  differences  in  self-regulation  score  of  experimental  group  students  who received treatment in the form of token economy behavior modification methods and the control group who did not receive treatment.
