PENGARUH ADVERSE SELECTION, PEMBINGKAIAN NEGATIF, DAN SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP ESKALASI KOMITMEN PROYEK INVESTASI YANG TIDAK MENGUNTUNGKAN
ABSTRACT: The objective of
this research is to obtain empirical evidence regarding influence of adverse selection, negative framing,
interaction of adverse selection and negative framing, and self efficacy on
investment project evaluation decisions. This research is con-ducted by using
laboratory experiment approach. Sixty-nine students are participate in this
experiment. Hypotheses testing in this research use Two Way Anova for
experiment 1 and One Way Anova for experiment 2. Overall can be concluded that
this research analysis result fully support proposition that escalation of commitment
decision are affected by adverse selection, negative framing, interaction of
adverse selection and negative framing, and self efficacy. P-value of adverse selection
(0.004), negative framing (0.012), interaction of adverse selection and
negative framing (0.017), and self efficacy (0.000) each lower than 0.05. Four
hypotheses that proposed in this research are successfully proved.
