PENGARUH FRAMING, PERTANGGUNGJAWABAN, DAN JENIS KELAMIN DALAM KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI TAMBAHAN: KEPUTUSAN INDIVIDUAL DAN GRUP
ABSTRACT: This research studies
the different between individual and group decision in an investment decision in
alternative framing and level of original responsibility. This experiment is
design based on the prospect theory developed by Kahneman and Tversky (1979). Subjects
of this experiment consist of 252 students from a private university in
Yogyakarta are di-vided into 84 groups. Every subject is faced with one of four
cases randomly. This experiment used a 2X2X2 factorial design. There are three
independent variables, level of original investment responsibility, framing,
and type of decision. The dependent variable is individual or group preferences
to continue the project or not. The results of this research show that the
interaction variable of type of decision and level of responsibility influence
the preference to risk.
