PENGARUH PEMEDIASIAN TRUST DALAM HUBUNGAN KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DAN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR
ABSTRACT: Most leadership
research focused on the direct effect of leadership to performance. In
addition, those re-searches even focused on the use of MLQ’s measure of
performance. Currently, new researches found sup-ports for the moderating and
mediating variable in the relationship between leadership and performance, and also
they began using new performance measures in leadership research. This research
focuses on the mediating effect of trust to the relationship between transformational
leadership and organizational citizen-ship behavior. This article offers Baron and Kenny’s (1986) approach to
test the mediating variable, and finds partial support for the proposed
hypotheses that trust will mediate the relationship between transformational leadership
and organizational citizenship behavior. It means that trust is a partial mediator in the relation-ship
between transformational leadership and organi-zational citizenship behavior.
