Abstract: The research is
aimed to take inventory on Medicinal Herbs which are potential tobe grown in
thearea of Tawangmangu, Karanganyar. The research isalso aimed to discover
Intellectual Property Rights (IPS) on medicin a lherbs and their breeds. The
research used empirical method with structured interviews to collect primary
datas. Next, the collected data is analyzed using content analysis. The result
of the research concluded that there are large amount of medicinal herbs grown
in the area of Tawangmangu, Karanganyar. Butthe IPR protection on theherbsis
not optimelized yet
