MEMBANGUN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI OPTIMALISASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER
Abstract: Achievement is a
gain required by each educational institution. All school’s resources
are directed for
gaining achievement, starting human resources, fund, instruments,
messages and time. Generally student’s achievement
is built through
standard activities; they are
routine learning activity,
counseling activity, and
students’ motivation for increasing their learning. Of course, those
standard activities are unable to increase students’ achievement, because the main
factor is from outside. Therefore, it is necessary to find a concept for
improving motivation in gaining achievement through optimal character
education. Character is a component in human being that is able to build
personality. Strong character will build strong
personality and only
one who has
it will be
able to gain proudly achievement. Through this
concept, although achievement can not be achieved instantly, but the results
will be internalized deeply in students’ personality and it will be strong
foundation in student’s personality.
