PANGGUNG TEATER BRIPTU NORMAN KAMARU DALAM PERSPEKTIF DRAMATURGI – ERVING GOFFMAN
Abstract: Human life as social
beings is like the stage or theater performances. Above the stage, humans
represent a dramatic performances, and the cast (actors) must show and act in
accordance with the character that has been scripted. When in the front stage
(stage front) the actor can communicate with the audience, which seemed to have
been very close, so it's easy to invite the audience to participate in the
show. It is certainly different from when the actor is in the actual conditions
and situations, namely in the back stage. and is a personal space that should
not to be generally known. Here Erving Goffman's dramaturgy involving
'impression management' . The successful actor on stage (front or rear) are
also supported by the cooperation of a good team. Actually the front stage and
back stage, just a stage with all the dynamics of its uniqueness, let alone
perform the stage play was performed by Norman Kamaru a member of the
Indonesian police, who were in the spotlight of society.
