SEMANGAT BUSHIDO DALAM NOVEL KARYA EIJI YOSHIKAWA (Kajian Analisis Isi)
Abstract: The present research
is related with the values of Bushido’s Japanese culture as described by Eiji Yoshikawa’s
Novel. The objective of the research was to identify the values contained in Eiji Yoshikawa’s Novel and provide benefits in
exploring superior values that can be applied in everyday life. These values
are justice, courage, kindness, politeness, sincerity, honor, loyalty, and discipline
and introspection. This research used content analysis approach to identify the
values of Japanese culture that contained in Eiji Yoshikawa's novel so that it
can be expressed in a comprehensive manner. The results of the research was
identification of the Japanese values that contained in Eiji Yoshikawa’s Novel
and can be used as a reference for the development of Indonesian cultural
values.
