Analisis Fekunditas dan Diameter Telur Ikan Malalugis Biru (Decapterus macarellus Cuvier, 1833) di Perairan Kabupaten Banggai Kepulauan, Propinsi Sulawesi Tengah
Abstract: The purpose of the
research was to present some parameters for the reproductive aspects of
Decapterus macarellus, from Banggai Kepulauan waters, especially fecundity and
egg diameter. Sampling was conducted every other week, and the samples were
analyzed in laboratory. The result shows that fecundity of Decapterus macarellus
ranged from 32,292 to 205,174 eggs. The relationship between fecundity and
total length and between fecundity and body weight were F = 570,07 e0,1731L (r
= 0,7512) and F = 9782,5 e0,0083W (r = 0,8151), respectively. Egg diameter
ranged from 0,12 mm to 0,52 mm. Malalugis biru was a partial spawner fish.
