HUBUNGAN KERAPATAN TEGAKAN LAMUN TERHADAP KELIMPAHAN SAND DOLLAR (Laganum sp.) DI PADANG LAMUN PULAU DERAWAN KABUPATEN BERAU
ABSTRACT: There are
five seagrass species
which already discovered,
Halophila ovalis with
average abundance 25-1588 colony/m2, Halodule pinifolia with average
20-1567 colony/m2, Cyamodocea rotundata
with average 26-1245
colony/m2, Syringodium Isoetifolium
with average 8-14 colony/m2, and
Enhalus acoroides with
average 14-35 colony/m2.The
result of Sand
Sollar identification found 1
spesies, Laganum, sp.
with 11 pattern
variation at the
aboral side (the upper part of body). The abundance of
Point 1 : 2600 - 4600 individual/m2, Point 2 : 3000 - 4200 individual/m2, Point
3 : 2000
- 3600 individual/m2. The
test result of
statictica correlation between Seagrass
density and Sand
Dollar abundance showed
a negative correlation
(-) to the value
of r =
0,2794. This is
shows that the
more increasing of
Seagrass density will
lead the decreasing of Sand
Dollar abundance with the coefficient of determination (R2) 0,0781 (7,81%).
