Persepsi Masyarakat Dalam Menggunakan Bis Kota Untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Jalan Di Kota Padang
Abstract: Growth
of town very influenced by expanding transportation system. Transportation town
system shall work well a spell of. This research aim to to know perception of
consumer of vehicle of town bus and person in election of transportation to
work. Survey done with kuisioner to responder residing from Lubuk Buaya area
until Air Tawar. Election of sampel selected at random. Result of survey
analysed with descriptive analysis method. Result of analysis to 120 responder
people show that factor having an effect in chosening moda of transportation to
work are security and freshment. Security and freshment which are better to be
fulfilled by vehicle of person. To lessen usage of vehicle of person, town bus
require to improve its service. Raising of service of town bus can improve consumer
from 35% becoming 75% from amount of responder. Usage of optimal town bus can
improve efficiency usage of street room. At segment of M.Sarkoro - Situjuh
usage of street room initialy 98,5 % going to become 74,7 %. This efficiency
can to increase performance road network.
