Kondisi Pemotongan Optimum Proses Pembubutan Keras Baja Perkakas Aisi O1 Menggunakan Pahat Keramik

Abstract: Turning hardened tool steel using ceramic cutting tool can make advantages over traditional process use grinder. It is can increased productivity and reduced power consumption and can use without coolant. The aim of these studies is to define optimum cutting condition using response surface method (RSM). This study use ceramic tool Al2O3 + TiC (CC650) with specimen AISI O1 heat treated to harness of 60 HRC and use CNC turn for machining. Measurement of flank wear use microscope and helped commercial software. Result these study are Optimum cutting condition is 95 m/min cutting speed (V), 0.09 feeding (f). And 0.25 mm dept of cut (a). And it is not recommendation use for high speed machining.
