MODEL HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK MAKRO LALU LINTAS YANG BERSIFAT HETEROGEN DI KOTA MAKASSAR
Abstract: This paper attempts
to analyze relationship model among macroscopic characteristics of traffic that
has heteregenous traffic behavior on divided urban roadway in developing
countries such Indonesia. In this regard, the study adopts three types of the
macroscopic relationship model, i.e. Greenshield, Greenberg, and Underwood
models approachs. In order to calibrate parameters values of those models under
the traffic behavior on divided urban road type, we conducted a primary traffic
survey on one primary urban road in Makassar, Indonesia. The survey consists of
traffic volume survey, traffic speed survey, and geometric characteristics of
the road. The analysis result shows that three relationship model given good
result according to statistical values test, i.e. r and R2 of the each model.
In addition, the results show that Underwood model is slightly superior to both
others model, as well as Greenshield model is slightly better than Greenberg
model. In further, we expect that the models provide a basis in order to
develop a prediction model of road vehicle emission and its optimizing in
further studies.
