PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN WINGGRID TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK DISTRIBUSI TEKANAN PADA AIRFOIL NACA 0012

Abstrct: The  research  was  held  to  investigate  the  effect  of  winggrid  addition  to  pressure distribution characteristic on wing tip region. This research was conducted in wind tunnel at velocity 5, 10, and 15 m/s. NACA 0012 airfoil was tested to inve stigated the local pressure by used manometer. The pressure coefficient is used to show the impact of winggrid on the wing the pressure distribution. The result indicated that the  wing tip vortex caused  a reduction in pressure on the upper surface of the wing near the wing tip. Separation bubble did not formed on the near wing tip region, it’s  was  found  distant  from  wing  tip.  Winggrid  addition  caused  the  separation disappeared  from the  pressure  coefficient  plot and  increased  in lift  was  found  at contour of pressure.
