Pengaruh Water Storage Volume Terhadap Unjuk Kerja Solar Assisted Heat Pump Water Heater (SAHPWH) menggunakan HFC-134a

Abstrak: Solar assisted heat pump water heater (SAHPWH) was one of the applications from heat pump system with the  solar  collector addition  on evaporator to absorb the heat from sunshine. The solar  collector aimed to increase the refrigerant temperature in the evaporator. This research was conducted to test the performance of  SAHPWH by using refrigerant HFC-134a with the variation of water storage volume at 50 l, 75 l, 100 l, 125 l, and 150 l.  The experimental result showed that water storage volume enhancement was caused  COP increased whereas water temperatur yielded  decreased. When water temperature in condenser tank increased with time, refrigerant mass flow rate, heat capacity also increase,  and at the same time COP value decreased. Average values of COP ranged from about  3.75  –  4.74  and water temperature in condenser tank varied between 29.0oC – 61.3oC.
