Perancangan Modular Fixture Untuk Proses Freis, Milling Dan Sekrap
Abstract: A fixture is a
device that holds, clamps and locator a workpiece for machining processes.
Modulator fixturing is a system of interchangeable components designed to
securely and accurately hold a workpiece for machining. This research is to
carry out the modular fixture design that be applied at many of machine process
such as milling, drilling and shaping. The design is made dowel-pin-based
system which square base plate and a variety of supports, locating elements,
clamps, and accessories components. A CAD system is used to initial phase of
the workholder design as numerous tooling options are developed. Finally, the
complete modulat fixture is ready to assembling for variety of workholding and
machining processes which short time of loading/unloading, more accurate and
precision.
