Studi Fraksi Hampa Pada Aliran Dua Fase Melintasi Sederetan Pipa Bersirip Secara Melintang

Abstract: A study concerning the fraction of vacuum in the flow of two-phase gas-liquid adiabatic conditioned on the two-phase flow across a row of transversely finned pipes with pipe number 5 x 20 lines with a pitch and diameter ratio of 1.28, and the size of the fin (width 1 mm, height 1.2 mm), a series of test sections form a heat exchanger models. Void fraction measurements done with the valve closure system quickly. The experimental results are compared with the separated flow model and homogeneous flow and the influence of fin measurement results compared with the results of previous researchers. Results showed that the experimental void fraction smaller than that predicted by the homogeneous flow and has compatibility with separate streams estimate. Dramatically higher void fraction obtained as rising gas mass velocity. Similar results were also reported by Schrage et al (1988) and Xu et al (1998) with the pipe without fins, this shows that the fin does not affect the void fraction measurements.
