USULAN PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE MODULARITY DESIGN PADA MESIN SURFACE MOUNTING TECHNOLOGY (STUDI KASUS : PT. X)
Abstract: PT. X is a company
which produce PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Within a lot of companies which move
in the same way, PT. X have to be more competitive so that they can prevent their
existence. PT. X claimed to keep their consistency on flow production process
to fulfill the demand. During the
production process often get an
inhibition because the failure on SMT machine line 6. Maintenance prosess which
have done in this company is more to be a corrective maintenance even that the
company also do a preventive maintenance such as greasing and checking the
machine before and after used. By data that have been provided, can be given a
suggestion for maintenance sistem on the company by using the preventive maintenance
but moer than that because there is a trend on time to failure for each
component is not giving a big differences and there is also a relation among
the components so the preventive maintenance can be used by modularity design
method. Here, Modularity design wil be used to combine for few components to be
a new module, that related to Homogeneous of each TTF, the closest MTTF, or
cause-and-effect relationship so that can be got the cheapest cost for doing
the maintenance. By comparing the cost that have been produced for each method,
that will be better if the company use the preventive maintenance using the
modularity design method with basic on
homogeneous TTF. The difference cost between the preventive maintenance using
modularity with homogeneous TTF and corrective maintenance will reach IDR
75.262.964,00
