Diagnosis dan Penatalaksanaan Kardiomiopati Peripartum
Abstract: Signs and symptoms
associated with physiologic changes of the cardiovascular system in women
during the last trimester of pregnancy, may obscure the diagnosis of heart
disease during that time. Therefore, it is difficult to diagnose congestive
heart disease in pregnant women. We report one patient with peripartum
cardiomyopathy, which is a very rare heart disease in pregnant women.
Recognizing that peripartum cardiomyopathy may occur in pregnant women without
any history of heart disease is of clinical importance, since it allows early
diagnosis and treatment directed toward the congestive state.
