HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH MAKAN OLEH IBU PEKERJA DENGAN STATUS GIZI BADUTA DI KECAMATAN TONGKUNO SELATAN KABUPATEN MUNA

Abstract: During the 0-24 month baby who did not receive exclusive breastfeeding and adequate nutrition and good parenting, it can cause growth disturbances. The aimed of this study was to determine the relationship of parenting feeding by working mothers with nutritional status infants under two years. This type of study was a cross sectional study. The population was all children aged 0-24 months whose mothers were workers, numbering 97 people infants under two years. Samples drawn by purposive sampling technique, totaling 50 people. Data obtained from the mother to work through the interview regarding the child's diet, to describe his diet. Assessment of nutritional status was done by weighing using camric and body length measurements using a length board. Data were analyzed using chi-square test. The results showed no significant relationship exists between mother parenting fed by the workers in these types of foods with nutritional status infants under two years, both based on the index weight/age (p = 0.426), Height /age (p = 0.551), and weight/height (p = 0.258). There was no food-frequency relationship with nutritional status based on an index infants under two years weight /age (p = 0.42), heigth /age (p = 0.55) and weight/height (p = 0.258). There was not the first time the relationship of breast-feeding with nutritional status based on an index infants under two years weight /age (p = 0.186), heigth /age (p = 0.22), and weight/height (p = 0.401) and so was the first time companion food-breast milk with the provision of nutritional status based on an index infants under two years weight /age (p = 0.826), heigth /age (p = 0.602), and weight/height (p = 0.345). The need to build awareness and knowledge of mothers on various aspects of the above to improve the nutritional status of infants.
