PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN DENGAN DUKUNGAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS DI PUSKESMAS NGADIROJO WONOGIRI
Abstract: The use of science
and technology in the healthcare field continues to grow dynamically in accordance
to the development, one of them is the utilization of health information
systems development. The aim of this study was to develop environmental health
information system with the support of geographic information systems in Health
Centers Ngadirojo Wonogiri. This study was a qualitative descriptive study with
action research approach, This was in accordance with the opinion that action research
is one qualititative research methods commonly used in the development-oriented
information system due to the change. This study took place in Ngadirojo health
centers, and the objects were taken from the overall results of the
identification information processes either in the form or informa-tion
structure and procedures of information on environmental health monitoring
activities, including management of the parties, executing the program and
clinic personnel associated with the environ-mental health activities.
Application of environmental health information system with support of
geo-graphic information developed by web-based and can be utilized easily by
users. This information system produced an output of thematic maps, graphs, and
tables that can be used as guidance in the preparation of reports as well as
supporting information in the planning of environmental health programs.This
study conclude that computerized data of environmental health by environmental
health information system with support of geographic information can be
utilized by users to support planning of environmental health efforts in
Ngadirojo health center.
