PENYELENGGARAAN MAKANAN DAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN ATLET DI PUSAT PENDIDIKAN DAN LATIHAN PELAJAR DINAS PENDIDIKAN PEMUDA DAN OLAHRAGA MAKASSAR
Abstract: Provision of food in
training camp or athlete training center, a part that must be handled with
care, both in quality and quantity, as in the provision of food in the PPLP
Sul-cells. This study aimed to determine the role of food in the PPLP systems
of Sulawesi and the satisfaction level athletes sports games and martial arts
athletes. This type of study was a descriptive study. Samples consisted of
organizing units of food, 29 athletes sports games, 20 athletes and martial
sports. The data was collected by interview and filling questionnaire. Data
analysis was done using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the
process of food in the PPLP Sul-Sel consists of a component input, process,
output and feedback. Meals a day cost of Rp 40,000, -/atlet. Labor organization
of food amounted to 7 people. The process of food in general was well done but
the monitoring and evaluation was not done. There were 60 menus with 7 days
menu cycle. Menu with the greatest amount of energy on Thursday at 2864 kcal,
while the least on Monday, 2432 kcal. The average satisfaction level of
football athletes and sepak takraw, respectively 66.56% and 62%, which falls
under the category "not satisfied". Athletes to the overall
satisfaction level of the branch of martial arts menu for 60.67% (category
"Not Satisfied"), from wrestling at 89.65% (category "Satisfied"),
and boxing at 80.19% (category "satisfied "). It is recommended to
provide expert nutrition and supervisors in supporting the implementation of
food, and holding a nutrition education to athletes, coaches and organizers of
the food.
