Riset Operasional Menggunakan Modified Problem Solving Cycle untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Manajer
ABSTRACT: Business plan that
has been arranged very well will be meaningless if it cannot be implemented.
Based on the financial report of Tuban Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital, it is noted
that the organization’s income reached 7,66% of the target in 2009 and 20,43%
of the target in 2010. The problems on performance which are related to
awareness, support and managers’ capability will be solved through Modified
Problem Solving Cycle (MPSC). The purpose of this study was to improve the
managers’ performance in the business plan implementation through
organizational learning process at Tuban Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital. The
respondents were 9 employees holding managerial level at Tuban Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital.
The intervention was done from 11 April to 24 May 2011. The pre-intervention
observation was done in August 2010 and the post-intervention observation was
done from May to July 2011 by using on the site records. Changes occurred after
the intervention was then compared to the condition which occurred before the
intervention based on questionnaires and on-the-site records. The conclusion of
this study is that the changes in awareness and support in implementing the
business plan will positively affect the performance improvement.
