TERAPI KELUARGA UNTUK PENINGKATAN KOMUNIKASI VERBAL PADA ORANG DENGAN SKIZOFRENIA
Abstract: A verbal
communication ability required as a potential to beginning communication
process in therapy phase for people with schizophrenia. The objective of this
research is to examine that family therapy
could be increase
verbal communication for
people with schizophrenia. This experiment
plan using pre,
post and follow
up control subject
design with one
person with schizophrenia as
a subject with
his family. The
family therapy treated
in five times
of meetings. Analytical data
using two step:
(1) Visual inspection
which aim to
show the dynamics of
verbal communication scores;
(2) Qualitative analytical
which aim to
analyze data which be
obtained from diaries,
observation and interview.
Research result show
that family therapy has
an influence to
improve verbal communication
skills for people
with schizophrenia.
