BRAINSTORMING SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PENGEMBANGAN BERFIKIR KREATIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SAINS BIOLOGI
ABSTRACT: Learning the science
of biology still tends to prioritize the acquisition of results (products) in
the form of knowledge, memory, and ability to think logically so that most
students still think that the science of biology is a lesson to memorize. As
revealed by Amien (1991) that an analysis of existing biological science
learning at this point in a philosophical emphasis on process and scientific
products, but its implementation was still more emphasis on product rather than
a scientific process. This is certainly necessary to get attention, because
such learning can lead to underdeveloped, or even "kill "the
creativity of students. One alternative effort to develop creative thinking
ability in learning biology science is by conducting brainstorming.
Brainstorming able to encourage creativity and generalize a variety of ideas
quickly. Brainstorming can be used to solve a specific problem, answer
questions, introduce a new subject, increase interest, and record the knowledge
and attitudes.
