PENGARUH PUPUK KOMPOS AGRISIMBA DAN MULSA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN STROBERI (FRAGARIA X ANANASSA DUSCH.)

ABSTRAK: A reseach to study the effect of application of agrisimba compost and mulch to the growth  and the yield of strawberry has been investigated from Nopember 2003 until January 2004 in the Controlled Culture Laboratory of Agricultural Faculty Padjadjaran University with an altitude ± 754 m above sea level.  The experiment was arranged in a Random Group Design factorial pattern with the first factor mulsa consist of two level (with and without mulch) and the second factor is the dosage of Agrisimba compost with four level (0,10,20,30 ton/ha).  The experiment employed three replication, therefore, there were 24 unit experimentation. The application of agrisimba compost and mulch gave interaction effect to N absorption/crop, amount of fruit with size less 10 g/crop and weight of fruit/plot, but not to: amount of fruit with size 10-20 g, runner, crown, SRR value, amount of fruit, and grade of sugar content /crop.  The application of compost 30 ton/ha gave the highest N absorption ( 2,10 mg/g/crop), and 20 ton/ha gave the highest both of fruit with size less 10 g/crop and weight of fruit/plot (5,67 unit/crop and 320,02 g/plot  respectively).  At dosage optimum of compost (6,57 kg/plot) on application of mulch gave the highest weight of fruit was 349,64 g/plot.
