ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SISWA DALAM MEMAHAMI MATERI TURUNAN KELAS XI IPS SMAN 1 PARIAMAN
Abstract: The ability of
understanding the concepts, problem solving and mathematic communication is the
parts of the purpose of learning mathematics. However, the ability of student
of Class XI IPS SMAN 1 Pariaman to understanding the concepts, problem solving,
and communication mathematics have not been a concern to the fullest. These can
be seen from the results of the first daily test which there are still some
students who don’t achieve desired score yet. The purpose of this research is
to looking at the ability of understanding the concepts, problem solving, and
communication in class XI Social SMAN 1 Pariaman. The type of research is
descriptive research. The subjects were student of class XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Pariaman.
The research instrument used was a test of mathematic ability of Student. The
results showed that the average comprehension of student’s mathematic concept
is 34,49, categorized as poorly, the
average of student’s ability of mathematic problem solving is 32,84,
categorized as poorly, and the average of student' mathematic communication
skills is 34,01, categorized as poorly.
