PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SQUARE TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMA ADABIAH PADANG
Abstract: Understanding of
mathematical concepts will be better and more expand if the teacher could
prepare the lesson that can develop students’ understanding of mathematical
concepts. But mathematic lesson that happen in XIth program sains grade in
Adabiah Hight School Padang couldn't expand understanding of mathematical
concepts optimally. One of the problem solving is applying Think Pair Square
cooperative learning. This research aimed to see students understanding of
mathematical concepts during Think Pair Square cooperative learning was applied
and to compare students understanding of mathematical concepts who attend Think
Pair Square cooperative learning with students who attend conventional lesson.
Kind of this research is descriptive research and quasi experiment with
statistic group design draft research. Result of research indicate that
students understanding of mathematical concepts had increased during Think Pair
Square cooperative learning was applied. It can be inferred that students
understanding of mathematical concepts with Think Pair Square cooperative
learning is better than students in conventional lesson.
