PENGARUH PENDEKATAN BRAIN BASED LEARNING (BBL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VII SMP ISLAM RAUDHATUL JANNAH PAYAKUMBUH
Abstract: The mathematical
reasoning abilities is one of the abilities that should be had by everyone in
mathematical learning. In Islamic Junior High School Raudhatul Jannah
Payakumbuh, the mathematical reasoning ability of the students are not optimal
yet. One of the learning approach to increase the mathematical reasoning
ability is Brain Based Learning (BBL). The purpose of the research is to know
the influence of BBL toward the mathematical reasoning ability of the
students grade VII SMP Islam Raudhatul
Jannah and to know is the mathematical reasoning ability of the students which
use the BBL approach better than the
students which use the conventional learning. The type of this research is the
quasi-experimental reasearch with the Static Group Comparison Design. Based on
the analysis of the quiz, the mathematical reasoning ability of the students among
using the BBL approach is increase for integers, but decrease for fractions.
Based on the analysis of the test, the mathematical reasoning ability of the
students which using the BBL is better than the mathematical reasoning of the
students which using the conventional learning.
