PENGARUH PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA
Abstract: The mathematical
problem solving abilities is one of the abilities that should be had by everyone in
mathematical learning. In the senior high school, the mathematical problem
solving abilities of the students still not optimal yet. One of the learning
approach to increase the mathematical problem solving abilities is Realistic
Mathematics Education (RME). The purpose of this research is to know the influence of RME toward the mathematical problem solving
abilities of the students grade XI IPA 1 in SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Akabiluru.
The type of this research is the quasi-experimental research with the
Randomized Control Group Only Design. Based on analysis of the test, the
mathematical problem solving abilities of the students using RME is better than
the mathematical reasoning of the students using the conventional learning.
