PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 31 PADANG
Abstract: In learning process
student seems to be passive and their learning activity needs to be improved.
This happens because the teachers apply a teaching method which doesn’t give
student a big chance to be active in learning process. Pembelajaran kooperatifis
one of learning model that can give chances to students to be more active in
learning process. Think Pair Share (TPS) is one type of cooperative learning.
The research had been done to class VIII SMPN 31 Padang. By using random
sampling technique, VIII 1 was choosen as experiment class and VIII 2 was
choosen as control class. The instrument used was observation and achievement
test. The result shows that students learning activity got fluctuation after
TPS type of pembelajaran kooperatifmodel was aplied. Meanwhile, the result of
data analyse related to the result of students achievement shows that the
student’s learning achievement with pembelajaran kooperatiftype Think Pair
Share is better than conventional one.
