PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS XI IPA DI SMA NEGERI 1 PARIAMAN
Abstract: Problem solving is
one of expected abilities to be developed in mathematics learning. But the
observation result at the grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pariaman indicates that
students are confronted to the lack of problem solving ability. This is because
model that teacher use is not suitable with students’ characteristics. The
research had been done in grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pariaman. The type of
research was quasi experimental with Static Group Design. Grade XI IPA 2 was
chosen as experiment class and XI IPA 5 was chosen as control class. The
instrument of research was essay test of mathematics problem solving skills.
Data of problem solving ability test are analyzed by using the Mann-Whitney U test. The result of research showed that
problem solving skill of student with tipe Think Talk Write of lerning model
was better that problem solving skill of student with conventional learning
