PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTESKTUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII MTsN LUBUK GADANG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014
Abstract: Mathematical problem
solving Ability is the mouth of learning math in school. Based on tests of
mathematical problem solving ability that is given to students of class VIII
MTsN Lubuk Gadang note that math problem solving abilities students is still
low. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of contextual
learning model in learning mathematics grade VIII MTsN Lubuk Gadang gives
mathematical problem solving ability is better than the use of conventional
learning model. This type of research was quasi experimental research. The
research design used was the control group only randomize design. The
population in this research is grade VIII MTsN Lubuk Gadang lesson years
2013/2014. Withdrawal of samples is carried out by simple random sampling
technique. Research instrument used is the test of mathematical problem solving
ability. When ability test data given information that using contextual
teaching and learning in learning math can to addition ability of problem
solving ability of student.
