ANALISIS PEMBERDAYAAN RESORT CINTA RAJA SEKSI KONSERVASI WILAYAH IV BESITANG TAMAN NASIONAL GUNUNG LEUSER
Abstract: Mount Leuser
National Park (TN G. LEUSER-TNGL) is the oldest and the widest national park in
Indonesia. Nowadays, many problems such as illegal logging, land enrichment by
Aceh’s conflict refugees, have deteriorated most conservation areas
significantly. Social problems were identified as the impacts that need to be
specifically handled. Therefore, it is a need for TNGL office as the manager of
the site to re- plans its previous policies and programs which have been
inapplicable for present condition. One of the programs planned by TNGL was to
establish a mechanism where the resorts become a basis for future development
of TNGL. This was because the resorts had an important in communicating
problems occurred in the field due to its closeness to the area of problems.
Cinta Raja Resort is one of the resorts found in TNGL that needs to be reviewed
related with its problem complexities that could represent the situation of
TNGL
