ABSTRACT: The research aimed
to estimate potency of seagrass leaf width to support productivity in coastal
of East Kutai Regency.
Species of seagrass
founded consist of
E. acoroides, C.
ratundata, T. hemprichii, H.
pinifolia, H. minor and S. isoetifolium. Estimated potency of seagrass leaf
width for photosynthesis reach to
1.971.249.878,40 cm2/day or
7.195.062.056.16 m2/year and
estimated potency of seagrass
leaf on producing
oxygen reach to
71.950.620.561,60 liter/day. Estimated potency of C-organic in E.
acoroides leaf reach between 1.761.929 to 8.900.067 C-organik gr/year and estimated
potency in E.
acoroides leaf as
microhabitat of peryphiton-efpifit reach
between 7.876.868 to 36.003.803
individu/cm2 and T.
hemprichii leaf reach
