HUBUNGAN KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DENGAN KONVERSI HUTAN RAKYAT MENJADI AREAL PERLADANGAN BERPINDAH (STUDI KASUS PETANI HUTAN KEMIRI RAKYAT KABUPATEN MAROS)
Abstract: The objective of
this research was to discover the determinant social economic factors of
community forest conversion into cultivation area in Maros Regency. This
reseach utilized the regression analysis to the determinant of the conversion.
The factor that had the highest positive influence was the income gained from
the conversion of community forest land into the cultivation land . These
findings led to the economic factor or income differential have become the main
factor that pulls the farmers to convert the community forest into the community
forest conversion to shifting cultivation.
