KAJIAN KUALITAS PERAIRAN BERDASARKAN PARAMETER FISIKA DAN KIMIA DI PELABUHAN PERIKANAN SAMUDERA KENDARI SULAWESI TENGGARA
Abstact: Ocean Fishing Port
(PPS) Ken-dari is one of the largest fishing port in Su-lawesi. The number of
ships that docked in PPS Kendari also makes a lot of garbage and oil spills -
used oil that went into the ocean waters. Effluent - discharge resulted in a
change in water quality . This study aims to determine the condition of Water Quality
based of Physics and Chemical Pa-rameters in PPS Kendari. This research is expected
to be useful for the management of coastal areas, especially ocean fishing port.
The determination of the research station is based on aspects influence
representation of industrial activity and PPS that is, Sta-tion 1 is located at
the pier PPS which se-rve as a berthing vessel and place demoli-tion catches.
Station 2, located at the mou-th of the sewage plant (WWTP) PPS Ken-dari.
Environmental parameters measured include temperature, suspended solids, pH ,
salinity, dissolved oxygen, nitrates , phos-phates. The results showed that the
water quality conditions PPS Kendari terms of physical and chemical parameters
by De-cree of the state Minister for Environment No 51 of 2004 already exceeded
the water quality standard, especially for temperatu-re, salinity, dissolved
oxygen and phosphate.
