KETERKAITAN MODAL SOSIAL DALAM PENGELOLAAN HUTAN KEMIRI RAKYAT DI KABUPATEN MAROS SUALWESI SELATAN
Abstract: This research aimed
to (1) describe a relationship between micro social capital and macro social
capital (2) describe impact of changes in macro social capital towards micro
social capital, and (3) formulate strengthening model for social capital in the
candlenut forest management. This research was carried out in Timpuseng
village, Camba district, Barugae village Mallawa district and Cenrana Baru
Village, Cenrana district, in Maros regency. This research used qualitative
approach as a main approach (Qualitative dominant). Data were collected through
in-depth interview, involved observation, and documentary study. The results of
this research showed that the candlenut forest formed by the interactions
between micro social capital and macro social capital. The capitals were in the
forms of belief and networks built which later on established coordination action.
The changes of macro social capital through a policy regarding the forest land
use (Tata Guna Hutan Kesepakatan - TGHK) have weakened the right of the
community in the management of candlenut forest.
