ABSTRACT: Contracts in force in most fisheries are a contract with revenue sharing system. Sharing system is mostly  done  in  the  fisheries  sector  because  the  catch  is  erratic  and  the  high  speculative  attitude among fishermen. This study wanted to know about the results of the three models for fishing gear (payang,  sleret,  sekoci)  on  the  Sendang  Biru  and  the  implications  for  the  results  in  the  form  of three  fishermen  welfare  of  the  fishing  gear.  The  method  used  is  descriptive  qualitative  and  the analysis  unit  is  contract.  The  research  was  conducted  in  Sendang  Biru,  Malang. Results  in  this study are a contract with the highest profit sharing ratio on Sekoci. Ratio results for the Sekoci’s boat  owners  and the  fisherman  is at  40:60,  for  Payang’s boat owners  and fisherman  is at  70:30, and for Sleret’s boat owners and fishermen is at 50:50. By comparison the highest profit sharing ratio on the Sekoci, then the result is the highest revenue in the Sekoci’s fisherman. Second highest income  in  Sleret  and  most  low  income  in  Payang.  However,  the  fishing  communities  in  Sendang Biru  are  a  community  with  lower  welfare.  This  can  be  verified  as  Terms  of  trade  of  fisherman (Nilai  Tukar  Nelayan)  in  Sendang  Biru  fishing  communities  of  less  than  100.  Terms  of  trade  of fisherman  is  highest  on  the  Sekoci,  the  second  in  Sleret,  and  the  Payang’s fisherman lowest although Sendang Biru is the largest tuna producer in East Java.
