PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) UNTUK MEMBANTU SISWA MENGATASI KESALAHAN DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA POKOK BAHASAN BILANGAN BULAT SISWA KELAS VII SEMESTER GANJIL SMP PLUS MIFTAHUL ARIFIN TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014
Abstract: There are many
students who have difficulty in solving math problems. Difficulties resulted in
students making mistake in solving problems. The types of errors students
comprised 4 types of errors are errors of interpretation, the use of signs or
symbols errors, technical errors, and other errors. Therefore, the implemention
of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to overcome a students
mistakes in solving story problem at integer odd semester VII SMP Plus Miftahul
Arifin academic year 2013/2014. This research type is a Classroom Action
Research (CAR). The data analysed in this research are student’s activity,
student’s mistakes. The research show that student’s activity attain 65,48% in
the first cycle and 72,62% in second cycle, student’s mistakes attain 50,72% in
the first cycle and 34,28% in second cycle, It can be concluded that the
application of cooperative learning model with Contextual Teaching and Learning
(CTL) technic is effective to overcome student’s mistakes in solving problems.
