PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PAIKEM DENGAN STRATEGI PQ4R DALAM MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI (Siswa Kelas XI.IPA.2 MAN Genteng Banyuwangi Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013)
Abstract: PAIKEM is a learning
approach colaborated with PQ4R strategy it can transfer the student
understanding from short-term memory into there long-term memory through
reading activity in such way the learning atmosphere became innovative,
creative, effective, fun. The purpose of this research was to increase students
learning activity and achievement in XI IPA 2 MAN Genteng. The research is
Classroom Action Research. The result showed that learning activity from
pre-cycle to the first cycle increased 21.91% and from cycle I to cycle II
increased 7,24%. Achievement from pre-cycle to the cycle I also increased 9,06
and from cycle I to cycle II increased 12.75. It can be concluded that PAIKEM
with PQ4R strategy can be used to improved students learning activity and
achievement in Biology lesson.
