IDENTIFICATION AND INTERVENTION PROGRAM IN CHILDREN WITH COMMUNICATION DISORDERS
Abstract: Communication as one
of the process of delivering messages or vital information is always related to
one's language skills. Communication disorders experienced by children will
affect the growth, development and the ability of the child, although not all aspects
of growth, development and the ability of a person's behavior is determined by
the ability of communication. Communication consists of speech and language.
Both are often discussed at once, but each is different. Communication skills
generally develop according to age. But there can also occur barriers that may
be caused by hearing impairment, physical disability, developmental disorders,
learning disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders, autism and behavioral
disorders or emotional. Whoever the person both parents and teachers should
realize that to be emphasized is the ability to communicate not only talk, but
all aspects of communication. Aspects of communication including listening
skills, ability to respond, how to communicate, ability to understand the words
and the ability to pour the thought or idea. The discussion on the
identification and intervention directed at two things that affect the
smoothness of communication, such as impaired speech and language disorder.
