STUDI PENGARUH TIGA METODE PEMADATAN BETON SEGAR TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN DAN SEGREGASI BETON DENGAN MUTU BETON K-300 (fc’=24,9 MPa)

ABSTRACT: Compaction of fresh concrete is one of the processes in the concrete casting that has a significant effect on the strength of concrete as final result of the casting. The research conducted under the use of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is aimed to determine which of the compaction methods is more effective in terms of compressive strength and the effect of segregation. The results shows that the fresh concrete compacted by using standard compactor achieved the highest strength value of 115.23% for 7-day-maintained concrete samples and 124.25% for the 28-day-maintained concrete samples. While samples compacted using modified compactor achieved average value of 112.39% for 7-day-maintained samples and concrete 117.57% for 28-day-maintained samples. Concrete compaction using native rod achieve the lowest compressive strength of 108.70% for 7-day-maintained samples and 117.12% for 28-day-maintained samples. Neither of each methods show any signs of concrete segregation.
