Teaching Training Programs to Increase Lecturers’ Teaching Skills at Akademi Keperawatan 17 Karanganyar
Abstract: This paper is a
program concept of increasing lecturers’ teaching skills through some teaching training program
at Akademi Keperawatan
17 Karanganyar. This
paper seems to
be a proposal based on
field research. The
researcher proposes 3
strategies of micro
teaching that have
been practiced and proven
with his team
research member. First,
it is Learner-Centered Micro Teaching or
LCMT. Second, it is Teacher-Learner-Centered Micro
Teaching Model or TLCMT. Third, it
is Face Threatening
Acts or FTAs.
All of them
have been proven
to give valuable benefits to
give teaching skill
through micro teaching
by researcher. LCMT
is a strategy
which gives more time
allocation to students
to be active
in teaching learning.
Teacher acts as a counselor and
supervisor. TLCMT is a kind
of teaching strategy
which gives equal
portion to teachers and
students in teaching
learning activity. It
gives opportunity to
teacher to practice teaching and
manage classroom condition.
FTAs are kinds
of face expressions
and gestures that could be applied as strategies to
practice teaching very well. Those three concepts are proposed by researcher to
be applied at

Karanganyar to increase
lecturer’s teaching skills in micro teaching programs.
