HUBUNGAN ANTARA KONSEP DIRI DENGAN BULLYING PADA SISWA-SISWI SMP (SMP NEGERI 16 SAMARINDA)

Abstrak: Bullying  has  been  recognized  as  a  social  problem  which  is  mainly  found among  school  children.  Bullying  is  suppression  or  oppression  repeatedly, psychological or physical against someone who has the power or lack of power by the  people  or  groups  of  people  who  are  stronger.  Factors  that  influence  the occurrence  of  bullying  behavior  include  personal  factors  and  situational factors.Personal  factors  are  all  characteristics  that  exist  in  students,  including personality traits, attitudes and trends of genetic or congenital.This implies that the concept  of  self  that  exist  in  individual  becomes  a  determining  factor  of  the occurrence of bullying behavior.  
This  study  aims  to  determine  the  relationship  variables  self-concept  and bullying on students of junior high 16,Samarinda, East Kalimantan. This research consists  of  two  variables:  the  dependent  variable  and  independent  variables namely bullying self-concept.Type in this study using quantitative methods.  Data collected by using scale.Sampel in this study is the junior high school students  16  Samarinda  as  many  as  123.  Data  analysis  technique  used  is nonparametric  test  analysis  Somer's  d  and  the  overall  program  data  using  SPSS version  20.  The  results  showed  significant  association  between  self-concept  and bullying correlation value -0322 and the value of p = 0.000.
