HUBUNGAN GAYA BELAJAR DAN PERSEPSI SISWA TENTANG METODE MENGAJAR GURU TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA-SISWI KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 1 SANGATTA UTARA KUTAI TIMUR
Abstract: Learning achievement
is an accesion of student’s learning process who be included in the form of
value. In the learning process of the students are required to follow
all subjects even
mathematics is no
exception. Mathematic is
a subject that is
considered difficult by all students.
The problem that
often occurs is declining
achievement in mathematic,
and that is
problem for the
school. Therefore, many factors
can affect the achievement attained in
learning for each individuals. One of
them related to
student’s learning styles
and perceptions of teachers' teaching methods.
This research aims
to understand the
relations of learning
style and students perception
about teacher’s teaching methods of mathematic
achievment learning of SMA Negeri 1 North Sangatta. The research consist
of three variable that are: mathematic achievment learning as the dependent
variable and learning style and students
perception about teacher’s teaching methods as independent variable.
Data collection was
collected by using
scale method. Sample
in this research is the students
of SMA Negeri 1 North Sangatta around
75. Data analysis technique which use is nonparametric Kendal’s Tau analysis
test. The result of this research shown that there is no relation between
learning style with mathematic
achievment learning with
the correlation value
-0.117 and value p>0.05
(p = 0.186)
and there is
a significant relation
beween students perception about
teacher’s teaching methods and mathematic achievment learning with the
correlation value -0.050 and value p>0.05 (p=0.575).
