KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS TUMBUHAN OBAT DI HUTAN TAMAN NASIONAL GUNUNG GEDE PANGRANGO
ABSTRACT: Mount Gede Pangrango
National Park is medicinal plant species diversity because of the fertile soil
and humidity tropical forests. This study had been done to identify, preserve,
and conserve the medicinal plant. Square method used in this study i.e: 2x2 m,
5x5 mm, 10x10 m, and 20x20 m. Mount Gede Pangrango people interviewed to know
the medicinal function of each species. The quantitative data analyzed by
Micrsoft Office Excel 2007. Urticaceae had 4 species while the other families
did not know yet. Leaf is the larger utility as herbal (42%) than root, stem,
flower and fruit. The diversity of medicinal plants was moderate (1≤H≤3).
Herbaceous had the highly rich index (R’>5), boundary pole and tree
R’=3.5─5, and bar R’<3.5. Mount Gede Pangrango National Park is expected to
be utilized for the local people and carried out the conservation effort for
the medicinal plant.
