Penerapan Konseling Kelompok Realita Untuk Membantu Menangani Kecanduan Game Onlie Pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Krian
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
research is to effectiveness of reality group counseling to helping student to
handle addicted of game online. Research subject taken by applying purposive
sampling student of grade VIII was a quantitative research by applying one
group pre-test and post-test design. Subject of this research are 7 students of
class VIII-C and VIII-D SMP Negeri 2 Krian that have categorized to have game
online addicted on high rate. Methods of data collection is student’s game
online addicted questionnaire. Type of questionnaire used was a questionnaire structured
with 4 choice answers consisting of always, often, seldom and never. Analysis
of statistical data used is non-parametric sign test. After having conducted
the analysis using the sign test, it was known that ρ = 0,008 < α of 5% =
0.05. This means that after the application of reality group counseling the
rate game online addicted on student was decreasing. From the results of data
analysis can be seen that there are differences in scores between before and
after implementation of reality group counseling to the rate game online
addicted on students was decreasing especially on class VIII SMP Negeri 2
Krian. So it can be conclude that the application of reality group counseling
able to help student to decrease the rate of game online addicted on student.
