Pengaruh suplementasi kolin klorida dengan level berbeda pada ran-sum kambing perah terhadap kadar lemak dan bahan kering tanpa lemak susu

Abstract: The experiment aims to determine the effect of different choline chloride supplementation levels on milk fat and solid non fat. The samples used in the study were 12 Saanen breeding goats with 42 to 57 kg of body weight and 5 to 6 month of lactation. The study used completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatment groups and four replications: T0 (control), T1 (0.02% of choline chloride supplementation of the body weight) and T2 (0.04% of choline chloride supplementation of the body weight). Parameters measured were feed intake, milk fat and solid non fat. The results showed that the average percentage of milk fat in dairy goats experiment were T0 = 5.04; T1 = 5.91; T2 = 6.34% (P <0.05) respectively. The average fat content of milk were T0 = 25.602; T1 = 29.842 and T2 = 33.493 g. The average percentage of milk solid non fat were T0 = 5.98; T1 and T2 = 6.15 and T3 = 6.72% (P <0.05). Meanwhile, the average amount of milk solid non fat were T0 = 30.294; T1 = 31.087 and T2 = 35.602 g respectively. The study concluded that 0.04% of choline chloride supplementation was able to increase the percentage of milk fat and solid non fat.
