ANALISIS KEMISKINAN ANAK BALITA PADA RUMAH TANGGA DI PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence child poverty under age 5 years in West Sumatera based on parents and house hold characteristics. A model of logistic regression equation is developed and estimation is calculated based on raw data from National Economic Social Survey (SUSENAS) in the year of 2013 conducted by Beauro Statistical Center (BPS) Indonesia. The research findings show the significant factors that influence of absolute child poverty are the lower level of parents’ education, parents occupational, the family living location and number of childs more than one.
